Most interns I’ve worked with have no work experience in the field. This brings up a lot of questions and concerns regarding “being able to address the tough questions a client might ask.” I’ve also processed their concerns around trusting themselves and what they have learned in school vs. “out here.” It’s ok. We all started somewhere, and I’m here to guide you as you venture on this path.
This was me with one of my interns. I’ve been supervising interns since 2020.
With over a decade of experience, I have had the pleasure to work with different populations; therefore, I bring in the skillset gathered and strengthened from these populations. I intend to guide you as you confront difficult clients concerning questions and explore needed community resources. I also love providing you with the space to begin to play with therapeutic styles that resonate with you until you find the one that suits you.
